Location
Hacienda Palancar is located in the Yucatan Peninsula on the coast of Quintana Roo, Mexico, a 30-minute drive South of Tulum. The 70-acre estate lies between the Capechen Lagoon and the Caribbean Sea in the heart of the one million acre Sian Ka’an Nature Reserve, a protected UNESCO World Heritage site.
The estate can be reach by air, car and by helicopter. It is a 2-hour drive from Cancun Airport as well as a 20-minute flight by helicopter.
Furthermore, the property has a total of 70.3 acres (28.45 hectares) including, 2148.25 feet (654.79 metros) of incomparable white sand beach. The luxurious family compound is comprised of 19,000 feet of construction, including 5 buildings with separate master, living, kitchen, guest and staff buildings. This includes carpentry and mechanic shops and maintenance offices. The primary buildings have vaulted ceilinged verandas for comfortable outdoor living.

Security
Palancar is entirely private, secluded and fully protected by security cameras. Only one road leads in or out of the Reserve with security checkpoints at the entrance and exit.

Furthermore, the buildings of Hacienda Palancar collect rainwater in swimming pool sized cisterns beneath the buildings. There, the water is fully filtered, processed and stored to be completely drinkable and reusable throughout the home.
Hacienda Palancar features as well the largest array of solar panels in private hands in all of Mexico. Thus you’ll have enough energy to meet your normal use needs and more. But just in case, three large state-of-the-art diesel generators can operate as back up.
