Château La Cima, home of a former US Ambassador
From 1949, David K.E.Bruce, then US Ambassador to France, inhabited Château La Cima. The Ambassador was a charismatic character and a bon viveur who liked to mingle with the “upper crust” of the French society. He was a good friend of writer Francis Scott Fitzgerald, from their days at the University of Princeton. This former resident knew how to enjoy an exceptional property on the French Riviera. Thus his crest still remains on the wall above where he used to sleep.
